Help Shape the Future of Screen Accessibility

Desktop only -

How do screens effect the way we think and feel?

We're running a 2-week study with everyday desktop users — people who work, read, or browse on screen and sometimes wish it felt a little easier.

Spend 2 minutes a day sharing what you notice. In return, you get FocusGrain free, forever.

The Study

1. Install FocusGrain

Runs quietly in your menu bar. No disruption to how you already work.

2. Use It Daily

Adjust the colour and texture settings until it feels right for you — then just get on with your activity.

3. Questionnaire

A short 2-minute reflection each day for 2 weeks. One to kick things off, one to wrap up.

Complete 10 daily check-ins over 2 weeks → FocusGrain is yours, free for life.

Every response helps us understand how screens affect real people — and shapes what FocusGrain becomes.

Your experience matters. Whatever you notice during the study, it's useful to us.

How much time does it take?

About 25 minutes across the full 2 weeks.

Most days are a 30-second check-in. Day 1, the midpoint, and the final day take a few minutes longer — that's where the more meaningful reflection happens.

“Finally, screen work feels manageable.”
